PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Construction design project of all the structures in the expansion of the wastewater treatment plant at Vic and technical consultation during the construction phase.

The project involved various water tanks, two decanting tanks of 85 and 118 ft (26 and 36 m) diameters respectively, a biological reactor with a floor surface area of 807 x 2109 ft2 (75 x 60 m2) and 16 ft (5 m) high, two 75 ft (23 m) high, 57 ft (17.4 m)diameter and 17’’ (0.45 m) thickwall post-tensioned concrete digesters, assorted buildings and various outlet channels, etc.

 

DESIGN/CONSTRUCTION APPROACH

FEM models have been developed with ROBOT V6 structural analysis engineering software. For the design of the steel reinforcement, Pedelta’s own calculation software were used.
