PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This building is located at “Calle 88 # 13-09/Calle 88 # 13-25/Calle 88#13-17/Cra 13 #87-07/Cra 13#86ª-97”, in the city of Bogotá. The project is a residential tower consisting of three basement levels and nine floors.

The structural system consists of a special reinforced concrete moment-resisting frame, which serves to sustain both the vertical loads and the horizontal loads due to earthquakes. Prefabricated hollow core slabs were designed for the floors.

The building foundation is composed of a cast-in-place reinforced concrete plate system with pre-excavated piles. This system avoids any possible differential settlements.

The excavation of the basement was performed in stages, using temporary retaining structures.

The total construction area is 17,640 m2.
