PEDELTA has developed many Research Projects in the field of bridge engineering.
In 1996 PEDELTA led a Research Project to develop a bridge management system in partnership with CIMNE, the research center of the Technical University of Catalonia, and funded by the Spanish Ministry of Industry. The Bridge Management Software was later on implemented in two Private Public Partnership (PPP) projects in Spain.
PEDELTA has been involved in many Research projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Industry in the use of Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP) in bridge structures. PEDELTA sustained a Bridge Research Project to study the use of Carbon FRP laminates for the reinforcement of existing structures and the application of pultruded Glass FRP sections in bridge construction.
As a result of these research projects, PEDELTA has developed innovative and recognizable bridge design projects worldwide using FRP and Stainless-steel materials.
Our team of engineers, architects and construction professionals are some of the most respected in the industry, and are also members of many International Technical Associations in USA, Europe and Latin-America, helping to develop new design Standards, Reports and Technical documents.
PEDELTA’s professionals are actively involved in International Technical Events such as conferences, workshops, and symposiums.
